Whale of a Day ​

The City of Rancho Palos Verdes and Los Serenos de Point Vicente invites kids grades TK-5 to use their creativity to create an ocean-themed bookmark in celebration of Whale of a Day! Artists can use crayons, colored pencils or markers using a template available for download HERE.

 

Once you have completed your entry, please mail it to:

Entries must be postmarked by Sunday March 22, 2026 to be considered.

​

One winning design will be selected from three grade groups: TK-1, 2-3, and 4-5. The winning bookmarks will be showcased on whaleofaday.com and used to create a professionally printed bookmark available at the Point Vicente Interpretive Center on Saturday, April 11th. Winners will receive 25 of the printed bookmarks to share with their friends and family.
